Lana McGilvray is a 23+ year marketing and sales veteran who has driven strategic success for
private and public agencies and technology companies, including McCann Erickson WW, Concero, SKYLIST, UnsubCentral, Datran Media, PulsePoint and Blast Public Relations.
In 2019, Lana co-founded Purpose Worldwide, a global marketing strategy, services and measurement firm that focuses on powering organizations, public figures and non-profit and public-for-good companies leading the future of business, culture and society.
In addition to leading Purpose, Lana is also an advisor to The CMO Club and participates on the boards of Global Women in Blockchain, Bowling for BreastCancer.org, Drawing Lines, Generousart.org, PechaKucha Austin, AUSAM and Women Advancing.
She is a contributor to AdAge Collective, recently ranked as one of Adobe’s Top 5 Summit Influencers and has won several key industry awards.

Lana holds a BA in Communications from SUNY Albany and attended Fordham University’s
Graduate School for Public Communications on full scholarship, where she was awarded the
program’s Telecommunications Policy Roundtable Series assistantship in partnership with Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business.
