Lana McGilvray is a 20+ year marketing and sales veteran who has driven strategic success for
private and public agencies and technology companies she has helped lead, including McCann Erickson WW, Concero, SKYLIST, UnsubCentral, Datran Media, PulsePoint and Blast Public Relations.
For the past 7 years, Lana has advised chief executive teams on brand, marketing and sales
strategies and helped them transform those goals into awareness, consideration and growth,
played a role in taking several large technology companies to their exit goals (merger,
acquisition, IPO) and served at the helm of Blast Public Relations, an agency she worked with in
past roles and now leads.
At Blast, Lana is responsible for the agency’s growth and strategy and leads the national teams.
Lana is also a long time advisor to The CMO Club and participates on the boards of Global
Women in Blockchain, Bowling for BreastCancer.org, Drawing Lines, Generousart.org, PechaKucha Austin, AUSAM and Women Advancing. She is a contributor to AdAge Collective, recently ranked as one of Adobe’s Top 5 Summit Influencers and has one several key industry awards.

Lana holds a BA in Communications from SUNY Albany and attended Fordham University’s
Graduate School for Public Communications on full scholarship, where she was awarded the
program’s Telecommunications Policy Roundtable Series assistantship in partnership with Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business.
